Location: Dar es Salaam
Responsibilities
- Support the operations team in coordinating vehicle movements, deliveries, or shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records using ERP or warehouse management systems.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport partners, and internal departments to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Monitor and update shipment tracking systems and ensure timely communication of delays or issues.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, delivery documentation, and compliance records.
- Assist in scheduling and route planning for transport vehicles.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the operations department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a similar role (automotive/logistics sector preferred).
- Familiarity with logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS, SAP).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
